Stuck at Prom Scholarship Contest 
Eligible Participants may enter the Contest as one single individual only ("Entrant"). Each Entrant must create and wear: prom attire consisting of either a complete dress (the "Dress Category") or a complete tuxedo (the "Tux Category") and accessories made using Duck® brand duct tape and/or Duck® brand crafting tape ("Duck Tape® Prom Attire").

Westshore Arts Council Scholarships
The West Shore Arts Council is happy to announce that they are offering $500 scholarships again!  Successful applicants currently attend high school, and plan to enroll in further education at a recognized post-secondary institution to pursue a career in the fine arts.  This could include music, dance, theatre, film, visual arts, literary arts, digital arts, and others.

Victoria Operatic Society Scholarship
Each year VOS awards a scholarship in the amount of $1,000.00 (Canadian) to a student who has demonstrated passion and dedication to the performing arts. The scholarship is available to students who are choosing to pursue studies in the performing arts at the post-secondary level, including conservatory style training.
Areas of focus include performance (singing, dancing, and acting), backstage production (lighting design, costume design, make-up, scenery construction, stage management) or any other area of performing arts production. Preference is given to those who have worked on VOS productions in the past or taken part in VOS youth classes or summer camps.
The scholarships will be awarded to an applicant who meets the following criteria:
  • Is or will be a minimum age of 17 years at the time of application.
  • Is a resident within the Capital Regional District of Greater Victoria.
  • Has been accepted into a performing arts program at a University, College, or Conservatory for the upcoming school year.
  • Has not been awarded a VOS Scholarship in previous years.
Applications are accepted each spring and are evaluated by committee. Final award decisions are made in July. All applications are confidential and will remain the property of VOS. The scholarship funds will be disbursed each year in the month of September to a recognized theatre or music school at which the selected student must be registered. ICA Diversity Scholarships
ICA’s Diversity Scholarships are awarded to students from a diverse and/or immigrant background who demonstrate in their academic and community work active support for strong community values around diversity, equity, and inclusion in the Capital Region. 
  1. One $2,000 scholarship to a graduating high school senior who is accepted into a diploma or degree program at a college or university for 2022/23 in the Capital Region
  2. One $5,000 scholarship to a graduating high school senior of Indian descent who is accepted into a college or university for 2022/23​

Herman Rebneris Student Carpentry Award
CHBA will recognize the commitment to those learning the carpentry trade by awarding a deserving student with a $500 gift certificate to buy “the tools of the trade.”
The award is open to students from Vancouver Island Secondary schools with a carpentry program.
 Selection criteria: 
1)  registered within the past 12 months in a recognized carpentry/woodworking/career prep program
2)   good record of academic achievement

Association of School Transportation Services of British Columbia Commercial Heavy-Duty Mechanic Scholarship 
The ASTSBC will award up to four scholarships annually to eligible student(s) attending a BC educational facility for the express purpose of attaining certification as a Commercial Heavy Duty Mechanic. You may receive up to $7000 over the four years.

The Constable Sarah Beckett Memorial Scholarship (CRD Traffic Safety Division)
This scholarship will be awarded to a post-secondary student based on demonstrated academic achievement, financial need, and who is enrolled and about to begin studies, or currently studying a program leading to a law enforcement career in a recognized Canadian post-secondary education institution.

UVic Alpha Chi Theta Orchid Bursary
