UBC Entrance Awards: The Presidential Scholars Awards and Centennial Scholars Entrance Awards (Bursary)
Students wishing to be considered for these Entrance Scholarships must submit their Online Application to UBC by December 1st. This includes paying the application fee and submitting grade 11 and 12 marks as requested in the application. All high school applicants will be evaluated for the Presidential Scholars Awards based on their Academic Profile and Personal Profile sections of the online application. However, students wishing to be considered for the Centennial Scholars Entrance Awards must apply and provide information about their financial need.

RBC Future Launch Indigenous Youth Scholarship (formerly RBC Indigenous Student Awards)
This award is for Indigenous students to help them complete their post-secondary education, and provide an opportunity for RBC to strengthen its relationship with the Indigenous community. Selected students are awarded up to $10,000 each academic year (for up to four years) to use towards tuition, textbooks, supplies and living expenses. This is for indigenous students who demonstrate a strong academic performance and community involvement. 5 scholarships for students majoring in disciplines related to the financial industry and 15 scholarships to all other disciplines.

Burger King Scholars Program
Open to all students in Canada and the US in three categories: general (all students), employees of Burger King, and relatives of employees. Applicants need to demonstrate active volunteering in their communities, in sport, faith groups, clubs, or other organizations.

CIBC/ Student Life Network Scholarship (Contest)
CIBC offers a $35,000 award to a Canadian student who opens a CIBC student account and creates an account in the Student LIfe Network. (Note that this is really a contest. The Student Life Network offers many of these contests that provide financial awards to students heading to or at post-secondary institutions.)

Pollard and Perrin Orthodontics
This $500 scholarship involves writing an essay on ways orthodontics can improve a person's life.
Student Eligibility:
a) BC resident
b) planning to attend college/university on a full or part-time basis in September 2021
c) GPA or 2.5 or higher in Grade 12 year
d) Respond to the following question in Essay form: "There are many benefits that patients can derive from orthodontics treatment. In under 1000 words, write an essay that outlines at least 3 ways orthodontics treatment can make a difference in a person's life. *Please ensure to cite your sources in the form of a bibliography (no in-text citations please). Note that your bibliography does not count against the word limit."

BC Cowboy Heritage Society Scholarship
This $500 scholarship is open to BC graduating students who are enrolling in any post-secondary institution. Applicants must submit an essay, short story, poem, art work or craft that depicts the value of ranching or cowboy heritage.

Association of School Transportation Services of British Columbia Commercial Heavy-Duty Mechanic Scholarship
The ASTSBC will award up to 4 scholarships annually to eligible student(s) attending a BC educational facility for the express purpose of attaining certification as a Commercial Heavy Duty Mechanic.

Schulich Leader Scholarships
Applications OPEN NOW. Twenty undergraduate scholarships of $60,000 - $80,000 each are available across Canada for students intending to enroll in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) areas of study at certain Canadian universities. Each secondary school may nominate ONE student. Nominees must possess at least two of the three criteria listed:
- Outstanding community, business or entrepreneurial leadership
- Academic excellence
- Financial need

Pacific Institute for Sport Excellence Awards
The Chris Considine Bursary (1 X $1000) is available to high performance youth athletes in running, climbing or cycling and will cover any expenses related to training and competing at a high level. The Liz Ashton Scholarships (2 X $500) are available to youth athletes and will cover strength and conditioning training services at PISE.

RE/MAX 2023 Quest for Excellence
The Quest for Excellence Program recognizes the pursuits in leadership and community contributions of Western Canadian students. High school students graduating in 2021 from British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon and Northwest Territories are encouraged to write an essay to convey the contributions they have made to enrich the lives of others and their communities through leadership, motivation, volunteering and participation in charitable events or fundraising.
